It’s my passion to pursue investigative journalism that spurs change. I grew up and started my career in Hawai'i, where I saw firsthand how working families struggled to afford one of the nation's highest costs of living — often with little support from government officials or local leaders.

Through my work, I strive to identify problems and uncover solutions to socioeconomic crises — such as a lack of affordable housing, homelessness or access to disaster recovery funding. My mission is to hold those in power accountable, amplify the voices of society's marginalized members and inform public conversation.
